She currently shares her life with a menagerie of animals that fill her home and heart with joy...as well as LOTS of work! Her varied collection of animals include 2 dogs, 2 cats, 8 ferrets, 3 sugar gliders, 2 pacific parrotlets, 2 bearded dragons, 3 leopard geckos and an African Grey parrot (in a pear tree!). Her weakness for all things furry, feathered or scaly, began long ago, while growing up on a small backyard farm in Massachusetts, where her family had a horse, a herd of dairy goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese and pigs...not to mention a handful of barn cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils and a large fish tank of colorful fish! Their house seemed to be the place that local people would come to when they found a stray animal or had to get rid of any animal because they knew that her family would either find a good home for the animal or it would just become part of the family farm. So she has pretty much fed, cleaned up after and cared for most animals.
And when she is not caring for or cleaning up after her own animals, she spends her spare time, caring for and loving your animals in your home, while you are away, busy at work or just need a helping hand providing your pets all the attention they deserve on a daily basis.
